The purpose of this course is to impart rules and practices for the safe operation of skid-steer loaders. This course is not intended to train you as an expert operator of or like machines, but to give you a basic understanding of the operation of these machines and to impart the special safety aspects of operating a skid-steer loader on a job-site. Although the controls vary from Make to Make the safety concepts apply to all. We use the Bobcat® Skid-Steer Loader Operator Training Course for most applications, but will taylor our program to your comply with your company needs.
After participating in the course, course participants will be able to:

Class Participants must hold a current and valid Driver's Licence.

Training is available in: Orange County, Imperial County, Los Angeles County, San Bernadino County, Riverside County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County & more. Please contact our office for more information on these classes. For training outside of San Diego County, there is no charge for classes of 10 students or more in San Bernardino, Orange, & Imperial Counties. OSHA Requires refresher training, including an evaluation of the effectiveness of that training, shall be conducted to ensure that the operator has the knowledge and skills needed to operate the powered industrial vehicle safely. Refresher training in relevant topics shall be provided to the operator when: (A) The operator has been observed to operate the vehicle in an unsafe manner (B) The operator has been involved in an accident or near-miss incident (C) The operator has received an evaluation that reveals that the operator is not operating the equipment safely (D) The operator is assigned to drive a different type of skid-steer (E) A condition in the workplace changes in a manner that could affect safe operation of the skid-steer (F) An evaluation of each industrial truck operator's performance shall be conducted at least once every three years.
