Telehandler Operator Safety Training

Industrial Forklift TelehandlersOSHA and ANSI require training for anyone who operates a powered industrial truck, including telehandlers. This course includes: operating principles, safety rules, record keeping, maintenance, the special difficulties and variables in material handling/load capacities when using the boom, regulations, and hands-on operation of telehandler.

This course encourages participants to take an active role by observing, analyzing and discussing recommended safety practices. We conduct company training courses on-site, to allows us to use the equipment used on the job every day, making the “hands-on” portion of the program of greater value.

TelehandlersParticipants must pass a written exam and hands-on skills test with 70% or better to receive a certificate of completion. Classes available in English or Spanish. Certificates and sealed wallet cards are issued upon successful completion of our course.

Obviously no program can guarantee safety in the workplace. Our primary goal is to reduce the risk of injury or death that result from telehandler accidents. Our secondary objective is to help minimize equipment and product damage and the downtime related to such accidents. Thirdly help your company to be in compliance and meet the requirements for your IPP program.
